Our school office will be open from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. until June 9, 2023. It will reopen on July 6th with the same office hours.
The first school day for the 2023-2024 school year is Tuesday, August 1st. We can't wait to see our returning Clayton Cougars and new kindergarteners.
Students who will turn 5 on or before Sept. 1 are eligible for kindergarten. All 23 CCSD elementary schools offer full-day kindergarten.

Students with last names A - M: 9:00-10:00 a.m.

The Cherokee County School Board on Thursday, May 18, 2023 reviewed the proposed budget for next school year, which increases salaries for teachers and support staff, and approved the construction contract for the new replacement Cherokee High School campus.

CCSD graduates first cohort with Dyslexia Endorsement
The Cherokee County School District this week honored retiring employees as legends at a new ceremony and reception.
One hundred and twenty-four retiring employees, including teachers, support staff and administrators, were celebrated at the CCSD Retiring Legends Reception and Recognition Ceremony presented Thursday evening in the school board auditorium.
